CHINAR provides a stable and nurturing environment for children in need, which encourages and equips them to reach their highest potential and effectively meet challenges in life. The organization's greatest strength is the expertise, energy and commitment that its board of directors, officers, advisors and volunteers bring to the organization. CHINAR operations have dedicated individuals behind them who are experienced in non-profit work and also bring with them decades of know-how in management; legal and information systems; social policy and development.
Currently, CHINAR needs research volunteers to find grants that fit its profile. This can be done on your own time with all communication via e-mail or phone. Please contact us if you are interested. Visit www.chinar.org to learn more about us.

2 Positions: Web Designer and Project Leader to Publish and Design a Book
Leave Out ViolencE (LOVE) , United States
Community
Leave Out ViolencE (LOVE) was created to reduce and help eliminate violence in the lives of youth and their communities by initiating a movement of youth spokespeople who communicate a message of non-violence. By reaching out to one youth at a time, LOVE is reshaping the way a generation views society. LOVE gives youth the necessary tools to make not only their lives better, but their world a better place. LOVE teaches them to communicate through creative means primarily, writing and photojournalism. When LOVE kids are empowered with a voice they choose to use their voice and become leaders in the movement to spread the message of non-violence to their peers and eventually to educators, government and corporations. LOVE is a powerful reflection on the state of youth culture today and how our youth can change the world if they are given the chance. Learn more: www.leaveoutviolence-us.org. Spice up an office - Interior Designers Needed!
Echoing Green, United States
Community, Communication Design
We moved into our mid-town office a few months ago and have been lost in the drab world of white walls and tan carpet. We are about to embark on a journey to select bright paint colors and purchase much needed chairs, etc. but we could really use someone with an interior design background on the following: 1) Help us figure out how to decorate. We have some ideas but need a profesional 2) Help us identify the best furniture to purchase given our budget.
Our timeline is now, so please call Lara Galinsky at 212-400-3953 or lara@echoinggreen.org if you are interested. Should be a fun project!
