Build in Green, the picture on the left, is my new non-profit Organization.

Build It Green! NYC, is New York City's only non-profit retail outlet for salvaged and surplus building materials. Our warehouse has everything from panel doors to high end refrigerators and shutters to movie props. Our mission is to keep these materials out of the landfill, while offering deep discounts on their resale. We are sponsored by Community Environmental Center (CEC) www.cecenter.org. Founded in late 2004, our warehouse opened in February of 2005.

  • I think it is important to communicate how you came up with the physical modules you have. How do your design criteria respond to the waste material that you are working with (or other relevant research findings)? How do your forms, in turn, respond to the criteria? Communicating this critical process will help others evaluate the solution.

I would make sure to go over the mission statement with someone at the Writing Center or one of your classmates at the very least. There are some grammatical errors which makes it slightly difficult to get to the true objective of your project. We can work on this in class.
