Hi Janet, I was expecting that you were going to come to my office this week. Did your plans change, or did I misunderstand? You are welcome to come by, just let me know when you plan on coming.

Regarding your bibliography: I was hoping that, in addition to the sources that you have used in your research, you would also provide an explanation of why each source is useful to you as you build your hypothesis. Take another look at this example that I sent around.

In your postings, it looks like there are two ideas that you are exploring: water resources in India, and assistive technology for people with motor impairments such as your cousin who is living with Muscular Dystrophy. Personally, I would like to see you work on the latter, because there are a few students already focusing on water-related products, and I haven't seen anyone looking into products for disabled users. If you do go for that one, you might want to increase your focus to include other conditions, such as CP. United Cerebral Palsy is a very active NFP in New York, and you might be able to find someone there to talk to. You could also go there and observe people with CP, to find out more about that.

the picture I am posting shows a system that allow kids with CP to float around in the pool, while being supported by the floats.
    steven
