• Recycling Bioplastic

    Environment

    In response to Belu Water

Since corn is a renewable material, it makes sense to use Bioplastic instead of PET. Lactic Acid is non-toxic too. Nonetheless, there are two problems:

    1) As most of you already know, we are running out of food. What else can we use to avoid competing with the food production?

    2) In most western countries, we already have a well established PET recycling system in place. The problem is, bioplastic can't be mixed with the regular recycling process. How is bioplastic recycled?
