  • 10 vs 90

My most current research and frustration with trying to find out what the other 90% need led me to think about designing to save water in homes in developed countries

I was stuck on ideas like recycling shower water until i came upon this design on DesignBoom for a 'Dining in 2015' competition.

the design comes as a kitchen aid to save time, power and water when boiling water to cook several ingredients. Its smart and simple and to the point.

    It got me thinking again..

I still however would feel guilty for designing for the 10%

Lee, I am worried that you are still undecided about a general direction for your thesis. I can tell that you will do a great job for whatever you decide to work on, but why not just commit to something and get started? Life is short, and the semester is even shorter. If you want a good source for finding out about new products that focus on the developing world, take a look at the Tech Awards. This is a program that recognizes 20 different product ideas each year. Let me know what you think. steven
