BirdProject is the launch product of MATTER L3C, please visit the website www.birdproject.org BirdProject is black, biodiesel glycerin soaps with a ceramic keepsake at the center to help raise awareness and fund cleanup for the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Disaster.
MATTER L3C provides tailored solutions to develop social needs initiatives. Partnering with community organizations, NGOs, and entities working for the public good, we develop meaningful strategic projects and products addressing basic societal needs. Advancing sustainable methods and resources, our mission is to raise awareness and support for specic causes as needed locally and by our neighbors around the world.
I earned my Masters Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and my BFA with a focus in Furniture Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have worked for Kohler designing faucets, freelanced for lighting, furniture, graphic, architecture, and wayfinding design firms, as well as designed and made home furnishings for over ten years. I have also guest lectured, participated in exhibitions, competitions, and collaborations in design and photography.
