Design 21: Social Design Network

I recently graduated with a BFA in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. Before that, I earned an associate's degree in commercial printing from New York City College of Technology. Although my current interests are design-related, I'm a late bloomer who literally sleep-walked through his 20s. When I first attended college, I was resistant to technology and everything else. I did, however, like to read. Book learning led to a career in design. Generally speaking, I'm a native New Yorker with roots in Europe, namely Portugal. As doom looms over our planet, I forsee becoming involved in multidisplinary projects that truly help people, who, much like myself at one time, are blinded by the inability to see that there are better choices to make to improve the conditions of one's life.
