An unusual mix of playful spirit and finely honed business practices, Rian Design takes its cue from its unusual namesake, Principal & Creative Director Rian Heim.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Heim relocated to Los Angeles in the late 1990s and fell in love with the vibrant, multicultural mix of the city, along with some of its finer mid-Century architecture. (Our studio is located in The American Cement Building close to downtown.)

A veteran of big agency work for clients like General Motors, Sony and Nike, Rian Heim’s passion for smart design led him to strike out on his own while still a relative newcomer. Now an established entity in the L.A. design world, Heim’s great joy is helping clients find the perfect solution to their creative challenges. by member
