Trent Bigelow is a social entrepreneur and agent of positive change, online and off. His mission in business and in life is simple: to lead by example that it is possible to do well by doing good.
Trent is a founding partner and chairman of the Luova Group, a global network of new ventures aimed at improving the quality of life and the sustainability of cooperative commerce. He also co-founded the Luova Foundation, a non-profit organization with the charter to help foster global virtual collaboration, connectivity, and understanding.
Prior to starting Luova Group, he co-founded Reaction Concepts, LLC. a youth marketing consulting firm during his freshman year of college. He consults as an imaging and branding advocate for select individuals, celebrities, companies, and organizations. Trent started out in Hewlett-Packard’s New Business Creation Unit, focusing on youth marketing strategy, while in high school.
Causes Trent is passionate about include solving climate change, microinvesting, cooperative commerce, poverty alleviation, open government, social justice, education and health care reform, all issues on a local, state, and global scale.
His interests include modern design, new media, technology, modernity, modern history, sustainable thinking, traveling, fashion, trendspotting, and sailing.
Trent is an Interdisciplinary Studies major with his senior thesis in “Brand Evangelism,” at the University of Southern California. He studies and works in Los Angeles, California and calls Gleneden Beach, Oregon and Hong Kong home.
