Jackson is a designer based in Los Angeles, California. His design focus revolves around identity, cultural issues, and design as a stimulus for social change. As a graduate student at the Art Center College of Design, he worked on several socially-conscious projects with Designmatters, the humanitarian issues office of the school, leading to a fellowship at UNESCO.
Since graduating, Jackson has been involved with organizations such as UNESCO and Citema (Italy) with designing publications that aim to increase design dialogue among artisans, NGOs and designers. With the mindset that design is not the final outcome but part of the process, his goals are to develop self-sustaining systems that not only promote dialogue but also prompts action by all constituents.
