    Education

    Kazushige,

I've been invited to give feedback to all Parsons students, regarding your thesis projects.

It's critical that you describe in detail the challenge you're addressing and that you include the quantitative data behind it. Is it true that gay men have still not embraced the notion of safe sex with condoms? Is there a need for such an extensive (didactic) approach, with condom-wristbands and toilet seat covers that mimic a penis inside a condom? (The latter, by the way, is perhaps too literal an interpretation...)

Of course this issue is very, very important. And educational initiatives still need to be designed, implemented and distributed. Maybe, as you suggest, doing so via product design in the context of night clubs is a viable strategy.

But overall i feel this lacks holistic consideration. Think about grounding it in statistics, why it's a new idea and what kind of real impact it will have.

    Thanks! J.
