It is fascinating to see a government that worries about the environmental consequences and the health of its citizens. The government after the Korean War focused on industrialization and modernization. When that has been achieved, the current government is now concentrating on improving the quality of living. Seeing the amount of work and money the Korean government put into this restoration is uplifting, and hopefully will open doors to other modern societies to follow suit and refocus their priorities. It is not the riches and wealth that should make the world spin, but the ability to sustain ones practices.
