The hotels in Cha-Am are set in acres of flower gardens and water-filled low cost urns of lotus flowers decorate the hotel foyers. Many of the resorts in Cha Am feature rooms with private pools. The Thais are renowned for their massage and beauty treatments and all good hotels have excellent spa facilities which are usually reasonably priced. Local restaurants are excellent and get an A+ for service. They specialize in seafood and Thai cuisine and are much more pleasant than dining in the hotel buffets. However, after dark, if you are looking for a lively nightlife, Cha-Am is not the place for you.
