Jefferson Rall is currently the Associate Creative Director of On Ideas – a mid-sized marketing and advertising agency with disciplines in strategic plannig, design, advertising and digital deliveries. Rall is also Principle and Lead Creative of TurnWest Collaborative, his own graphc design experiment, both located in Jacksonville Florida.
Rall is a graduate of Flagler College located in beautiful St. Augustine Florida where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Advertising.
In his 18 years of design and advertising, while with some of the state's top firms, Rall worked with such clients as GE, Bank of America, Compuserve, The One Campaign, Capital One, CitiGroup, Florida Power and Light and The First Tee as well as countless theatres, art museums and public service agencies.
He has been recognized and awarded inclusion into various publications and competitions such as Graphis, Communication Arts, How Magazine, The One Show, Print Magazine, The New York Type Directors Club, The National Addys, The Tokyo Type Directors Club of Japan, and Show South among others. His work is featured in various design text books as well as letterhead, logo and publication design journals. In 2005, Rall’s work was chosen for a hanging exhibition entitled "Designers that illustrate." The show also included the work of Paul Sahre, David Plunkert, Luba Lukova and Craig Frazier. Rall’s work is also included in the permanent poster collection at the Southampton College of Art in England.
Rall's philosophy is to challenge convention while creating beauty – pushing social, political and ethnic boundaries to reach a mutual comprehension. Proud to work with a varied client model, Rall works on anything from national awareness campaigns in the east, to small, entrepreneurial coffee brands out west.
