I never knew that over 70,000 Americans are on the waiting list to receive kidney donations for kidney transplants. It is also mind blowing that they have only used regular coolers to transport organs. The LifePort Kidney Transporter sounds like a solution that has been needed for a long time. I am excited to see what the other units will look like for other organs. It seems pertinent that all organs should be measured for during the transport.
