I am a social designer from Australia. I manage a social design company that operates as a social business - with profits going to support an integrated, community based arts centre. I focus on knowledge design - helping organisations to design the knowledge and skills needed to deepen social impact and make social innovation work. I am passionate about the connections between art, design and social innovation! I am an illustrator and action researcher whose goal is to blend my skills to create accessible and usable knowledge, and through this, do my part to make this world more just and sustainable. I also work part time as the 'Social Design Fellow' at the Centre for Social Impact, University of NSW, Australia.

I am President of the International Association for Community Development (www.iacdglobal.org).
I am also very active in a number of networks and initiatives to support social business and social enterprise in Australia and internationally.
Design of the invisible human processes is as crucial in creating sustainable change as the visible world.
