Brazilian and Japanese descendant born in Sao Paulo city. I went to Art School. In Yuba Community I learned to live collectively and deliver projects with a collaborative approach. Involved with social design projects since 2000 and since then, work on development of community-oriented projects. Since 2002, at ArteSol, a Brazilian non-profit focused on improving the production of handicraft groups located in over 17 states in Brazil. In 2004, founded Straat for sustainable design projects and Tudo a Mão (NGO-Instituto Botucatu) for international exchange between designers and craftsmen.
