I am a 24 year old Web Designer, Developer & Multimedia Artist from Cork, Ireland.
I am keenly interested in music, film, gaming, art and graphic design and have undertaken and completed many projects in these areas during my free time.
I have written, filmed, acted in and edited a number of amateur films and am in the process of creating a PC-based RPG game. Presently, I am updating and re-designing my portfolio website and keeping up to date with cutting edge artists, graphic designers and web trends whenever possible.
I am involved in a number of freelance projects at the moment but am always open to taking on more work.
I graduated from the Cork Institute Of Technology in 2010 receiving a BA (Hons) Multimedia (First Class Honours).
For my final year college project I was part of a three person team that developed a multi-user installation, used to create digital artworks with only standard light sources. This was selected to represent CIT and the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences at the Ars Electronica Festival 2010. The week I spent there was most beneficial and made me more aware of what it is possible to create as a multimedia developer.
During my studies I have completed modules such as Interface Design, System Development, Dynamic Content and Advanced Programming which have allowed me to develop an excellent design sense, strong user interface skills and experience designing and working on database driven websites and content management systems.
These web-development modules and electives have provided me with an extensive knowledge of the capabilities of web-based technologies, web-server administration, SEO and project management skills. I am also familiar with the methods involved in the planning, analysis, design and development phases of multimedia systems development.
I can analyse problems with respect to developing interactive solutions, design solutions with emphasis on client needs and requirements and manage files, data and other resources.
