Mahmoud Keshavarz is a design researcher who is active in the field of politically-engaged design. Has a B.A. in Industrial Design from Azad University of Tehran and a M.F.A from The Experience Design Group at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Where he has worked on a research project entitled 'Forms of Resistance' which discusses the role of designer in socio-political interventions. Has published several papers in various magazines and newspapers in Iran and International Conferences and has contribution to the 'Design Philosophy Politics' e-zine. Currently he is a visiting researcher at the Design Research Unit of Interactive Institute where he is working on various forms of staging such as critical and politically engaged discourses.
