Design 21: Social Design Network

There are two things I'm really passionate about (besides design). The first is environmental responsibility. The combination of being raised with a strong appreciation for nature and the weight of current environmental concerns urges me to constantly consider material use and issues of consumption in my work. My second passion is children. While in college, I worked periodically at a daycare center, and although I concede that I started that job simply to earn money, the experience has instilled an unmeasurable appreciation for childhood. The disregard for convention and limitless imagination shown by children has helped foster my own creativity and showed me that adults have a lot to remember from their own childhoods.
