Went to Sri Lanka in july to visit the Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa's residence and estate. simply breathtaking. the photo is a view of Dedduwa Lake seen from Lunuganga, Bawa's estate. Lunuganga means Salt Lake. It's a worth a visit if you are die-hard fans of architecture, landscape architecture and Geoffrey Bawa. The estate is currently being run by a trust and managed by Michael Daniels and Asha de Silva, both architects. They are tireless. In the works is a plan to reconstruct one of Bawa's earlier designs.
