Key accomplishments Al-Tanf Refugee Camp Two days a week we have a capoeira programme for children and adolescents in the Al-Tanf Refugee Camp for Palestinians. We use the capoeira to promote group participation and physical and mental well-being.
Free for Kids This programme of four classes per-week is aimed at taking the kids off of the streets. Free for all children.
Juvenile Institute for girls and for boys Two hours per-week, aimed at engaging the girls and providing them with a safe space for self-expression.
NGO “Movimondo” www.movimondo.org Khaled bin Al-Walid Youth Reformatory Juvenile Institute for boys, Damascus October 2008 - March 2009 Sport and re - socialisation activities with over 250 teenagers
UNICEF and Caritas Damascus - Syria October 2008 - twice a week ongoing Program in Jaramana with over 600 children Capoeira training and performances with the Iraqi refugee children, using music and traditional Brazilian Dance
