Ihsani is the new ethnicity - and I am its Design/Creative Director
Our vision: To re-work and re-instate beauty and dignity in the fashion industry in Kenya through investment in sme tailors, innovative design, simplicity of technique, excellence of service and faith in the intrinsic beauty of all people created by God
Ethical fashion: The shoes and handbags made by Ihsani Culture House use recycled leather and tyre materials. The people who work on the shoes run their own businesses - contracts are negotiated.
Clothing is tailored by graduates of the Seed of Hope centre in Nairobi and other SME tailors.
