In fact this event is only a DESIRE FACTORY.
and a sustentability is only a secundary factor, I´m postulate the past year with a social project (winner on 2007 "feria del invento de con-con" and exposed in brazil (Mackenzi universtity to Sao Paulo) for the student of product design... well this projet DON´T QUALIFY on this event because is a not comercial one, then i have a question: ¿why Diego Rodriguez, publicated this event on a social design network?
this provoque me the need to be a alternative and SOCIAL DESING EVENT, that be a SOCIAL NEED FACTORY for valparaíso. No fashion, that not celebrate a designer how STEVE BROOKS and celebrate designer how VICTOR PAPANEK, CHRISTIAN ULLMAN and similar.
This quest start this year.

Este no es un evento de diseño social, sino que es una FABRICA DE DESEOS, lo pude constatar personalmente al momento de inscribir un projecto ganador de la "feria del invento de cón-con" y que fui invitado a exponer en la Universidad Mackenzie de Sao Paulo, un projecto de caracter social. Y no quedo seleccionado para exhibición justamente pr que era de CARACTER SOCIAL. Este evento no posee un discurso orientado a alcanzar el desarrollo sostenible y no entiendo por que Diego Rodriguez lo publicita en una página orientada al DISEÑO SOCIAL.
Este hecho me motiva a realizar un evento alternativo que este dirigido al DISEÑO SOCIAL, asi que este año comenzará esta iniciativa de un evento que destaque a grandes diseñadores sociales como VICTOR PAPANEK y no a diseñadores fomentadores del consumismo como STEVE BROOKS.
