I'm the author of 3 books: The 2009 release, DESIGNING SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING, CREATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR UNUSUAL PROJECTS, a Book-of-the-Month for the Graphic Design Book Club, and CORROSION: SEASON OF ANECDOTE, a poetic exploration of ecological decline across the globe. I've had short stories published in over a dozen literary journals, including DoubleTake, The Missouri Review, New Letters, Shenandoah, and The Windsor Review. My fiction has won several awards, and my short story collection was twice a finalist for the Sandstone Award. Before moving to Savannah, I was the art director of a New York City design firm, and owned an environmentally-friendly surf wear company. My social posters continue to be featured in gallery shows, and I lecture widely on social, cultural and ethical aspects of graphic design. I teach a lot of different classes, most of them in the gradute program at SCAD.
