Design 21: Social Design Network

Born in 1958 in this country called Brunei Darussalam as a British Protected person, like many other Chinese here. After the country got independent 25 years ago, our previous nationality were canceled, and we were given a new status - STATELESS ! My God, how can this be? Isn't this the shame of "my" country? We got no right! A few years ago the king converted us to PR, permanent resident. Life's not Fair, but God is Good, a book I'm reading at the moment.

I went to study in the States on our own cost and graduated in 86 a mechanical engineer. I did write to the Establishment begging for a job. It's worse than throwing a stone into the water. One gets echo after throwing the stone, my application brought no reply! So I ended up as a contractor all the time.

I married with a Malaysian and have 4 kids now. 3 boys and 1 girl. The youngest is turning 5 in March next year. The eldest is 17. We now live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia.
