Socially Conscious Design Efforts Early in his career John became involved in socially conscious design issues because he wanted to use his God given talents for the greater good of society. As his career took shape John became a strong advocate for using design to help solve social and cultural problems. This led him to many employment and freelance opportunities with a variety of nonprofit organizations and social causes. John developed Thinkhaus LLC to fully pursue his socially conscious efforts to better serve and educate his clients and the general public about the value of good design. His socially conscious endeavors now include green/sustainability design, usability for the web, and research regarding stereotyping in mass media.
