    Et lovforslag vedtatt Virginia huset Feb. 7 forslaget ville forby notarius publicus som ikke er en føderalt akkreditert innvandring representant fra tilbyr eller gi råd om alle innvandring saker. Regningen forbyr også en notarius fra forutsatt, bruke eller reklame tittelen på notario, notario publico eller licenciado, med mindre notarius publicus er lisensiert til å praktisere loven i Virginia.

    En notarius første brudd ville resultere i en $500 fine og andre $1000. Flere brudd kan medføre opphevelse av kommisjonen.

    HB 492 ble introdusert av Del. David Albo (R-Springfield). Spørsmål: Hvorfor single ut innvandring?     En lignende lov har ikke blitt tilbudt i Senatet. Hvis et forslag er gjort, ville lovgivere være klokt å dekke alle lover, ikke bare problemet du jour. En engelsk bare lov vil klare opp dette.
