I'm a french industrial designer living in Bolivia., South America. I created my own design studio 'agds' in the dynamic city of Cochabamba. I try to fulfil another way of researches with my design tools and to develop responsible projects wich can participate to the bolivian innovation.
We think that these countries that we call in the North 'Southern Countries', really have an inestimable chance to seize: a chance to skip the western models which have become controversial. Today, by preserving their diverse identities, they can skip the stage of westernisation and be at the cutting edge of a system of production and consumption respectful of our environment
The design studio is part of a creation network composed among others of architects, designers and international artists. We realize various studies for local companies to know Bolivia and more widely the South American continent, its markets, needs and possibilities of innovation. Our values are close to the concept of Slow design and Fair trade. We believe in the power of company and creative capacities of the countries of the South and want to contribute to this tremendous development.
On the other hand, we offer our local expertise to multinationals wishing to know or to become established on this place and sharing our values.
Between France and Bolivia, my personal hybrid route between industrial design, retail design and interior design allows me with 'agds' to propose services of consulting in strategic design in the domains of crafts and industry, notably applied to environment and architecture in general.
