Design 21: Social Design Network

Design is my love and passion. And I think Design is all about passions and positive emotions to excel in whatever one does.

By hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical followed by a Master's degree in Machine Design and Analysis.

For the last 30 years I have looked at all sorts of failures that takes place in machines, products and processes. And these have inspired me a lot to improve their performance and reliability.

I then studied nature and tried to discover nature's way of designing. I coupled my findings with sound engineering principles to develop new designs of factories, factory layout, machines, products, processes and industrial systems so that they prove more reliabile, and perform better thus making a positive and lasting impact in the industry and society.

Now, my present mission is to apply these principles to all walks of life to make the work and life of people better and make this planet our ours more sustainable and habitable -- now and in the future.

I would also like to share my findings with other designers if they find it useful.

I have a design consulting firm by the name Reliability Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd with its network of very competent and creative engineers.

My wife, Madhumita and my sons, Rick and Rit enthusiastically support me. They are also into creative professions and activitely help me in my work, whenever I ask for help.
