Hi Linda
I like it.
But
That is also used/cliche and it is very similar to a Dubai -TV channel identity.

Anyway-It seems there is something wrong with judging criterion.

Hello, Unnikrishna.
Now that things have quieted down a bit and we have had a chance to post the first-place design, I wanted to respond to your message and thank you for taking the time to comment.
I noticed from your posting that you have seen the first place design. I visited the Dubai Web site you mentioned to check out their logo, which also uses a quotation mark. But many designs use common symbols -- a circle, a globe, a door, a square, a bird, a quotation mark. What matters is how they are used. One of the things we liked about the 802 team's use of quotation marks is that they were the international version, not the American version. It is a subtlety that says volumes about one of the things we strive for -- an international point of view.
Anyway, thank you for submitting a design -- a very moving design, I might add -- and for the kind wishes in your email. This was not a perfect contest, but I think it will have a positive outcome in the end.
Linda
