Being an avid jazz lover, Selcuk has chosen "Body and Soul" for the title of this biography because he is convinced that a body without a soul is empty, and a soul without a body merely transient, each inextricably bound up with the other. For Selcuk, who wants his designs to have a soul, a design without a soul is nothing more than a good-looking picture. "The soul is the content, and the content needs a body to communicate.
