Design 21: Social Design Network

I am an Architect, and Urban Designer and a Designer. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa and am currently teaching as a lecturer in the design program.

My biggest interests are the use of technology in the creative process no matter if we are talking Graphic, Industrial or Urban Design. I am one of those who believe computers will more and more take over the surface of the Earth and I hope always for our sake.

I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. To me, it is the most beautiful city in the world but its environment has been suffering due to a series of reasons which range from global warming, social conditions, poverty, pollution, and so forth. I really feel sad talking about that.
