Design 21: Social Design Network

Virginie started her career working as a freelance Art Director with InDesignWeTrust on UPStreet Magazine International. Enjoying her professional independance, she went on working with the fashion, luxury, beauty, and art industries by creating illustrations for Gloss Magazine, book art direction and design for a publisher followed by identity, print and signage projects for top notch brands, agencies and institutions. Along with her print acquaintance, she developed her knowledge of multimedia, especially flash animations and web sites, giving life to formerly static projects. Naturally curious, pushed by her obsessive sense of elegance and harmony, she maintains a strong work ethic and participates as much as possible in international grahic design conventions such as SGDays or the OFFF Festival. After giving birth to her first child in December 2005, she took a break from her ecstatic Parisian life, freelancing from the Loire Valley. She's now giving birth to another project : fluonoir, an art direction and design studio in Bordeaux with Emmanuel Guiho.
