Design 21: Social Design Network

<p>I'm a student at the Wood Processing / Furniture and Interior Design Department (University of Belgrade, Faculty of Forestry) </p> <p>I try to be socially and sustainably focused. My interests are wide, covering arts, crafts, writing, social issues, however, like many of my colleagues, only during studies at the University of Belgrade, thanks to our mentor doc ms Jelena Matic (MA), I had a very unique opportunity to actively and quite extraordinary get in touch with architecture / design, therefore my work and writings have since been focused on sustainable creativity, innovation, young talents and social issues.</p> <p>I have worked on a number of projects related to University of Belgrade's Sustainable Design Initiative, where I had the chance to cooperate with variety of clients including media, fairs, cultural and state institutions.</p> <p>I have exhibited in a number of international events including: 2007 Talent Zone Copenhagen International Furniture Fair , 2008 Salone Satellite Milan Furniture Fair , 2008 World of Folk Stavanger , 2008 Museum Night Belgrade, 2007-2008 Belgrade Design Week, and other.</p> <p>I hold University of Belgrade's Award for Best Scientific-Professional Work in 2006/07, Belgrade Furniture Fair Golden Key Award for 2006 and 2007, ULUPUDS Diploma 2007, Serbian Union of Inventors diploma 2007, 1st place at Wood Agency Design Contest 2007, and 2nd place at LG HI MAC 2008 Lamp Design Contest Serbia </p> <p>More work at http://www.coroflot.com/ukica</p> <p>Contact: vitas (at) tesla.rcub.bg.ac.yu</p>
