In response to Nicole's Boards for Midterm Review, posted by nik,
in the thread Nicole's Boards for Midterm ReviewMuch improved! Now it is all coming together. Your boards tell your story quite well and stimulate good review discussions. On the first board, I suggest that you include, under a title Product Concept, a brief and to the point description of your thesis concept and intent. you should do thi8s before the Storyboard section. On board 2, I suggest that at the top, you better describe the product that you have drawn. What is it? Keep up the good progress and keep pushing. - Rick

The revisions to the your boards have somewhat helped to clarify you intent and story. I am unable to read your copy, but I suggest that you add transisional paragraphs between design concept 1 ans 2 to better inform your intent and argument. You need to better describe your idea and intent. You know your story and you need to let others better understand it. Keep pushing it ! - Rick

Very much improved. Both you boards and prototypes have greatly improved. I like your symbol, although I think there should be more contrast between the cross and inner symbol. You are making good progress and should be ready for effective presentations and discussions. Keep pushing ahead. - Rick

Your new line drawing is very good and helps tell you story and concept. The phone in the sketch would benefit from appearing as a solid form and possibly in color. Your method of posting your work for the review is unsatisfactory and is an enigma to the critics that will be trying to use it. Please re- post immediately in the manner that the rest of the class has. Rick

In response to Mission Statement + Presentation Boards, posted by Herng Fuu Richard Yeh,
in the thread Mission Statement + Presentation BoardsYour boards are successful in most respects and tell your story well. As we discussed, your technical drawings need dimensions to be understood and useful to the end user. I am sure that you will have your prototypes there for your review. Please try to have a prototype of your cup if possible. Good work. Keep pushing ahead. - Rick

As discussed, Your boards look very good. There is still one exception, the figures on board 2 look too childish and cute. Your subject is too serious for that impression. For next Monday you should be ready to discuss materials and manufacturing process. Keep pushing ahead. - Rick
