In short, I'm a think-tank and a work machine.
As an individual in the middle of overlapping creative industries, I am constantly seeking opportunities to expand my network to which I learn and exchange new skills sets.
With an ongoing history of collaborations with visual makers, computer scientists, and social thinkers, I hope to find new institutions making a step forward in design research in the domains of urban architecture, sustainable environments, and accessible technologies. Challenges and interface problems in areas like these are what receive the focus and application of my vision, technique and logic.
I have been involved in the launch of digital experiences ranging from enterprise productivity and information management solutions, to social media, networked communities, games, mobile, and data visualization. My role in such projects involve strategic thinking and leading a detail-oriented creative process.
While based in New York as an information designer and digital craftsman, I remain working with organizations globally to improve and/or realize their product. Current and past clientele include large-name foundations like Open Society Institute and Design for Social Good as well as research groups including UCLA’s Art and Science Center and Lab and the Center for Transformative Media. Simultaneously, I continue to teach a course called Core Lab: Interaction at Parsons The New School for Design, where I introduce web programming and online usability to students in a large multimedia environment.
