Abdul-mumin Yussif is a Program Officer for the Action for Community Development (AFCODEV). Abdul-mumin has extensive experience working on youth issues and capacity-building initiatives. He worked as a Research Assistant at the ‘Suhdoo’ Youth for Justice. He was part of a team that drafted the 2008 shadow report of Millennium Development Goals of Ghana. I explore issues regarding enrollment of orphans of HIV/AIDS in the Northern Ghana to schools and treatment. He held the position of Program technician of Tamnorth Company Ghana Limited, an ICT4 Development for the youth in Rural based areas in Northern region. A recent graduate of Tamale polytechnic, Abdul-mumin majored in Accountancy & Management, and held several leadership positions, including serving on the board of the campus Human Rights Network Resource Center.
Abdul-mumin was a founding member, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Student World Assembly and Clinton Global Initiative, a non-profit organization that works to inspire and empower students to be active globally in changing policies that affect them. For the past Three (3) years, he has served as a Mentor with A Better Community for All (ABC4ALL), mentoring ABC4ALL’s team of leadership Youth in Northern Ghana. I also serve as a resource person for the youth mentors of ABC4ALL international team.
