Design 21: Social Design Network

Returning for my second year as one of three Senior Design Studio Thesis Instructors for Parson's The New School for Design's "A Good Life" Product Design Program, my participation is ongoing. As a Designer myself, I bring to the process thirteen years of professional experience. I have a private Product Design practice in which I continue to work with various clients on projects in a wide variety of materials and categories, including, but not limited to: Dinnerware, Glassware, Frames, Mirrors, Lighting and Bath Accessories. With a specialization in Tabletop and Decorative Home Accessories, from 2004-2007, I held the position of Home Hardgoods Designer for Anthropologie Stores.
My work draws inspiration from vintage and antique styles and from nature. I am passionate about quality craftsmanship, materials, production processes, and the handmade. I have a love for conducting research that often finds me in the library in an ongoing treasure hunt for beauty. I am committed to education as a means to achieve ones dreams.
