Zara Arshad was born and raised in the UK, but has also lived in Syria and Indonesia. She now resides in China, after graduating from the BA (Hons) Design course from Goldsmiths College. Strongly influenced by Bruce Mau, Troika and Graffiti Research Lab, she continually explores the potential of design to solve social and political issues.
Previous experience includes working with Don't Panic, Icon magazine and the British Council; she is also a persistent volunteer for Architecture for Humanity having represented them at 100% Design. As well as practicing as a freelance, multi-disciplinary designer, Zara currently works with Icograda, Beijing and the British Embassy.
