My best friend from Hong Kong, Robynne, is studying Medicine in England. As a summer program for the medicine students, she traveled with a group to Madagascar last summer to teach children about hygiene.
I asked her to share with me her photos from the trip- and here they are I also added some extracts from emails she sent me of her experiences that might be interesting to some.
I found these very helpful, showing the local community doing their laundry, kids running around (shoe-less), the fields and animals, the houses and schools. (distinguish between the rural and urban scenarios)
