In the revisited map, I tried to go deeper into the shared characteristics of the five different products that I chose as opposed to relating characteristics that were too obvious.

Benefits resources: whether the particular product helps the manufacturing region's resources or takes advantage of them.

Sustainable: if the materials involved in the product are sustainable or if the afterlife of the product's materials is sustainable.

Lower environmental impact: when the product reaches the end of its life span whether it will have a smaller footprint on the environment. With the BMW Gina, I was thinking more along the lines of the fabric exterior since that's the main focus of that particular concept. Also because a fabric exterior would create less waste in its manufacturing as opposed to producing a metal exterior that cars are today.

Imported from one country to another: the product is either designed or produced in one country for sale in another.

Energy consumption: whether the product has a large energy consumption.

E-waste: creation of unnecessary e-waste as a result of tossing out this product and whether the product is that necessary in the first place. Such as the Motorola Sparrow that's trying to change the way the retail experience is thought of as today. Necessary? Not really...
