Design 21: Social Design Network

My name is Shinwoo Her. I’m a 27year-old male, I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I’m a kind of shy person and an optimist. I studied about fabric craft in a university in Korea. The reason that I chose this major was because I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was a high school student. Therefore, I decided to go to art collage to learn about one of bases of fashion, fabric. However, I realized that I did not have any talent about fashion during the university period, but I hadn’t even thought to change my major. After I graduated, I had to make a decision on two big things that I go to USA to study more, or get a job and take a normal life as ordinary people do. I chose the former, and came to NY to study about what I like, product design. Since I was young, I've liked toys and cute products. I desired to earn money with doing what I love. That is the reason why I chose product design. Although I have been in NY for 4years, I still have some English problem. Nontheless, I have a passion for product design that I love.
