Lee, your thinking is crystal clear, and I believe you are on to something powerful. you have analyzed the issue, developed a sophisticated understanding of the interwoven forces, both natural and social, that come together to cause this problem. You have isolated a single, highly tangible and measurable target for your development project. I can't wait to see what happens next! I am guessing maybe an investigation into various ways to incentivize hand washing, or integrating hand-washing facilities into other equipment or furniture that tend to be part of a classroom in the developing world? I'm sure you have many ideas about this. Let me know if you want help brainstorming. steven
