  • new process?

In response to Bibliography, posted by Lawrence,
    in the thread Bibliography

Lawrence, sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your postings. It looks like you are focusing on some form of recycling, where wood products are collected and refashioned into other things. Is your project to develop the process for making new products, or is it the the new product itself? In other words, are you planning on coming up with an industrial process for turning used wood furniture into pulp or particles, then embed them in some form of plastic or cement? If that's your idea, I would recommend that you think about this further, because that kind of project would require a large amount of making samples of the material that you were interested in creating, and then molding or machining that material into some new form. It could be a great project, but very difficult and probably expensive. We can talk about it on Monday. steven
