My prototyping goal was to successfully create an object that helped individuals release a form of tension and frustration.

As a test, several types of materials were casted (for material testing) such as smooth sil 910, dragon skin, flex foam IX, and ecoflex. One of the tests was to hollow eggs and cast them with different types of silicone to view the effects of sound and cracking and the relation to relief that is felt afterwards.

Several eggs were filled with silicone then covered, some were empty and covered. Both used same materials and had the same concept but the tension of the egg cracking was better felt when hollow.

Over the week, I took prototype samples to my NFP to get their opinions on some designs and play with the prototypes. They expressed their interest and draw to the empty eggs explaining, it is a safe way for patients to release frustration and blockage AND EASY CLEAN UP.
