In response to Does the moon exist only when someone is looking at it?, posted by sanaz8,
in the thread Does the moon exist only when someone is looking at it?I wondered the same just a few days ago actually. I wondered if the mirror actually reflects anything when I'm not about. Guess if you leave a concave mirror at the right angle towards the sun it might burn a hole in the wall. But that doesnt really answer the question. Is the moon an optical illusion then? Hindus believed it was part of heaven so impossible that people could land there.

hello Sanaz, I must complement you on your exellent exposition on the Kabbalah. I came to your page after reading the following from the book of the sacred magic of abramelin the mage .."He said unto me that he required ten golden florins, which he must himself, according to the order which the Lord had given unto him, distribute by way of alms among seventy-two poor persons. http://www.sacredtexts.com/grim/abr/abr010.htm So the story goes that abram the character was required of abramelin 10 gold florins as the price for which he would then reveal the true magic! " In the footnote by Mathers (of the golden Dawn) it is said that chapter 14 in exudus contains 3 verses that all have 72 hebrew letters exactly. Well how facinating I thought so I googled it and hit on your page. Actually this is an astounding fact and that it is verses 19, 20 and 21 . In fact when I just read this I thought that 19 is a very interesting number. (particularly to the Bahais although I'm not quite sure why?). Also the first verse of genesis was analysed by the numericist Ivan Panin an athiest who discovered 42 combinations of the number seven inlaid in that verse with such beautiful mathematical symetry that it could only have been written by a supernatural intelligence he concluded. Anyway I liked what you wrote. Your art is brilliant too by the way. Luke
