Design 21: Social Design Network

The founder and principal of Arc Design, Mina Yamazaki was born in Tokyo, Japan and educated in Los Angeles California. She lives in New York with her kids, Reina and Christopher.

Mina aim is to work on documentary projects. She is especially interested in the effects of all forms of artistic endeavor on social, cultural, environmental and security issues.

I believe the principles of good design are unchanging and universal. This sense of oneness is the key to good design no matter what form it takes, whether it be a museum exhibit, a brochure or an engaging Web site. Collaborating with others, benefitting from their specific skills and knowledge, always enriches my own work.
