Our program partner in Harlem, Mott Hall II is now facing a funding crisis having lost their 21st Century grant for after-school programming which represented 50% of their total after-school budget.
Even though Arts to Grow charges a modest 25% of the overall cost to run its program, Mott Hall II can no longer meet the fees. Arts to Grow and Mott Hall II's three year partnership in producing free community art classes for kids is now in jeopardy.
To continue this partnership $1,200 must be raised by September 10 to support an Urban Dance class that meets once weekly for 2 hours for 12 weeks serving 15 kids.
