This poster aims to call attention to the situation of homeless people in Los Angeles through the use of everyday materials such as a cardboard boxes, newspaper or other materials we can relate to homeless people with. These items are not worth much to the everyday person but to a homeless person it is their home, shelter, blanket, warmth, etc.

Does this design reflect a(n)...
• well developed and easily understood concept?
This is a powerful design solution that manages to leave a disturbing and lasting impression on the viewer. The level of communication is highly focussed and none of the design elements distracts from the core message. However, the exclusive focus on the homelessness situation in Los Angeles limits the scope and impact of this design solution when applied to a global audience. I suggest that the current image be cloned to include statistics from other parts of the world to make it more relevant to a global audience.
